General Electric Appliance (GEA) Digital Marketing Support Intern

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The roles will include support for the following teams:

Ecommerce Team:
1)Drive growth in the GE Store External Partner channel by establishing and maintaining contacts with accounts, providing updated marketing materials for communicating the program and sending periodic e-newsletters to business contacts.
2)Maintain GE Store databases for weekly orders and traffic.  Track and analyze e-newsletter statistics.
3)Project work related to GE Store as needed, including testing of new processes, and price benchmarking.
a)Record daily sales numbers/visitors for consumer sales channel
b)Project work related to digital assets, including photography and other content.
c)Manage Parts e-newsletters including gathering content, loading consumer data, testing, executing delivery, and post-send analytics.
d)Create and manage requests for promotions (banners, sales and rebates info)

Consumer Marketing Web Team
1.Review keywords, review search engine rankings, aid with SEO report out
2.Manage all parts of the consumer e-newsletters including gathering content, obtaining legal approval, testing, executing delivery to 4MM consumers twice a month, and post-send analytics.
a.GEA e-newsletters: Home, Product, Recipe
3.Project work related to GE Appliances digital assets such as home page analysis, sweepstakes and microsite management.

2.Currently a FT undergraduate or PT/FT graduate student with a GPA of 3.0
3.Ability to work flexible hours ranging from 20-40/week
4.Strong process management and analytical skills
5.Demonstrate skills in relationship building and facilitation
6.Team player, collaborative style
7.Self-starter, able to work independently and in team setting
8.High level of enthusiasm/energy/positive
9.Students pursuing degrees in business or marketing strongly preferred.

Students can work up to 20 hours a week during the semester and 40 hours a week when school is not in session.

Pay is $18.00 an hour.
