Externship Information Session Today - Tuesday, March 18
Externships allow students to earn academic credit while developing lawyering skills under the direct supervision of a licensed and practicing attorney. For the Summer 2014 and Fall 2014 semesters, students can choose from more than 18 different externship placements. Students may earn up to eight (8) hours of externship credit.
All students are invited to an information session Tuesday, March 18, at noon, in Room 175, to learn about all the different externship opportunities. Faculty supervisors Professors Blackburn, Cross, Jordan, and Trucios-Haynes will discuss how to apply for a particular externship; the selection process; what the different externships involve; how many credit hours you can earn from participation; and much more. The Cafe will provide sandwiches - chicken salad, pimento cheese, turkey, and ham, with chips and softdrinks.
