Entrepreneurship Clinic Info Session Today!

On Thursday, March 20, at 11:50 in Room 175, the Law School's Entrepreneurship Clinic will host an information meeting for all students.  Professor Mike Slaven, Director of the Entrepreneurship Clinic, and a panel of current clinic students will provide information about the clinic and answer any questions you may have.

As the director, Mike Slaven, a Brandeis School of Law alumnus (Class of ’76) with more than 30 years experience as in-house counsel, currently oversees law students in their pursuit of providing legal services to the business school’s teams participating in business plan competitions, one of which is now vying for the title of top new venture against teams from around the world.

The Entrepreneurship Clinic is a structured educational experience in which law students represent students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship MBA program at the University of Louisville College of Business who are participating in internal, national or international business plan competitions, or have other legal needs as determined by the Clinic Director. Students will gain and apply practical lawyering skills in the field of business law. In addition, students may have the opportunity to travel with the teams (travel will be paid for by the Business School).

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the requirements to participate in the Entrepreneurship Clinic so you can plan in advance and make sure you have enough credit hours and required courses.  Jimmy John's will be served. All 1Ls and 2Ls are invited to attend!
