Public Service Opportunity: Assist in Criminal Cases

The Public Service Program has been informed of an immediate need forof three students to assist a local attorney with three separate criminal cases in which defendants are charged with murder. The attorney has been court-appointed pursuant to the Public Defender's Assigned Counsel Plan.

The students would assist in investigation, legal research and general trial preparation on each of the three murder cases.  The cases are set for trial in July. Course prerequisites include criminal law, criminal procedure and constitutional law.  If you are interested in this placement, please e-mail Jina Scinta at or call at 852-5647.
