Summer Planning Suggestions
Still seeking summer opportunities? Consider these:
1. Meet Small Firm & Solo attorneys on Tuesday night, March 18th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the LBA (corner of Sixth & Main.) This Spring Semester Potential Employment Gathering will improve on last fall's Meet & Greet. The "revised game plan?" Briefly introduce the practitioners so students know which ones do which kinds of law and what sort of help (summer or full-time associate or ???) they are seeking. Then you all will know who to make a point of speaking to. Suggested: Business attire with resumes in hand. Questions? See 3L Robyn Lurding.
2. Equal Justice Works has both Summer and Post-graduate employment. All involve working at nonprofit legal services organizations and/or promoting other pro bono opportunities: Summer Corps, AmericCorps Legal Fellowships, and Equal Justice Works Fellowships. Go to www.equaljusticeworks.org for complete information.
