On Wednesday, November 10, the Jewish Community of Louisville will host the Festival of Jewish Books at 7PM at the JCC. Biographer Melvin Urofsky will be present to discuss his recently published book, Louis D. Brandeis: A Life

Mr. Urofsky is the recipient of the 2010 Brandeis Medal Award, which was established in 1982 to recognize individuals whose lives reflect Justice Brandeis’ commitment to the ideals of individual liberty, concern for the disadvantaged, and public service. He presented the Brandeis Lecture at the Law School on April 1.
