Student Life Information Session: Externship Opportunities
Soon it will be time to start thinking about how you want to design your schedule for spring 2013. To help you plan, the Student Life Office is sponsoring a series of information sessions this fall designed to provide information regarding several opportunities you have as a law student to enrich your legal education. Take advantage of these sessions and be prepared for course registration this November. The next Information Session will focus on externship opportunities available to you as a law student.
Each academic year, several opportunities exist for skills-based externship experiences. If you are thinking about participating in an externship in spring 2013, please join us on Tuesday, October 9, to hear from faculty supervisors, field supervisors, and students.
Get answers to your questions before the November registration period. Information will be provided relating to the following externships: Tax, Judicial; Legal Aid Society; and the Jefferson County offices of the Commonwealth Attorney, the Public Defender, and the County Attorney.
The session will begin at 12:00 p.m. in Room 175. Pizza will be provided to attendees. (*Note: Information regarding the Immigration Externship, the Law Clinic, and the Entrepreneurship Clinic will be provided at the October 23 Information Session.)
