BUSINESS LAW SOCIETY - Career Opportunities Workshop

Where will you fit best after law school?

Join the Business Law Society and Northwestern Mutual for our inaugural attorney placement seminar.  Many students are unsure about what career paths exist after law school and our goal is to provide our classmates with an opportunity to receive a professional placement assessment.

Our guest, Ms. Scott, is a professional recruiter and placement specialist for young and seasoned attorneys.  Our focus will be on the results of the anonymous assessments and identifying traditional and non-traditional career opportunities available after law school.

The assessment will be anonymous in that all results will be spoken about generally, then each student will have time to talk about their own results with Ms. Scott individually after the general discussion.  The deadline to submit your evaluation is NOON on the 27th.

The event will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 28 in LL75.

Free lunch will be provided.

How to participate:

Attached is a link to take the Leadership Assessment (CPQ) which will help us identify your leadership style and core strengths. Please note there are NO right or wrong answers and that it is NOT a test. The assessment will take you about twenty minutes to complete and the results will be emailed to Ms. Scott once you are finished. For the most accurate results, please complete the entire assessment in one sitting, in a location where you will not be interrupted.
