The last available make-up date for Composite Pictures is next Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 11:00 - 3:30 PM at the Delta Zeta house located at 2104 Unity Place, Louisville, KY. Adam Gabbard is the photographer and his telephone number is 513-549-1018 if you additional questions. Dark suit and tie are recommended.

If you are unable to attend this make-up session, the last available option is to have your own portrait by a photographer and submit your own photo. Please find the own photo form attached. Please remember that the additional $20 fee is waived.

The Federalist Society put on ten events this year at the law school – bringing in prominent speakers from a variety of backgrounds to speak on legal issues. Thank you for all those who attended our debates. I would also like to send a big thank you to the Federalist Society officers, Rebekah Gray, Brandon Johnson, and Vince Kline, who were essential in making this another successful year for the organization.

Topic: The recent controversy over the HHS “Preventive Services Mandate” has surfaced serious questions about religious freedom and conscience protection. Should government force employers and insurance providers to include contraceptives and abortifacients in health insurance plans? When, if ever, should government accommodate conscientious objections to paying for these drugs and devices? What limits do legal protections of religious liberty (including the First Amendment) impose on government power in this area?
